Resistance is Futile.

Twitter has been exploding with comments on the geek cred of new Miss USA from California, Alyssa Campanella. To summarize, during the poise section of the pageant (going based on my knowledge of pageants from my own participation), Campanella was asked a question pertaining to her love of collecting history books. Her answer cited her love of shows like HBO’s “Game of Thrones”, “The Tudors”, and Camelot, seen here after the jump around 2:25.

CES & Los Angeles

New Year’s Resolution (one of many) to blog on a semi-regular basis, especially as I’m spending the month of January in Los Angeles interning with Tubefilter.

If you didn’t already know, Tubefilter is a web television promoting and reporting company. They host the annual Streamy awards for the best of web television and web video. This is the same internship I was hoping to do last year but the timing just wasn’t right and it didn’t happen. This year everything managed to fall into place and I arrived in Los Angeles on the 1st, starting work on the third.
